House Speaker Mike Madigan has named two legislative leaders to serve on a new legislative commission on ethics and lobbying reform.

Majority Leader Greg Harris and Assistant Majority Leader Kelly Burke will represent House Democrats on the bipartisan, joint House-and-Senate committee.

The appointments come as questions continue to swirl about the lobbying activities of lawmakers themselves and whether major corporations like Commonwealth Edison have skirted lobbying rules in an effort to get favorable treatment from lawmakers.
