A group of liberal lawmakers is forming a new “progressive caucus” in the Illinois House.

The Democratic representatives say they are embracing an agenda to pursue health care for all, education for all, and justice for all.

Their goals for this session include the $15 an hour minimum wage, the legalization of marijuana for recreational use, and campaign finance reform that will make it easier for voices other than those of the wealthy and powerful to be heard.
