State Sen. Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, D-Shorewood, is searching for community organizations and small businesses to participate in her free Kids’ Fair.

The fifth annual Kids’ Fair is at 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, Feb. 18, at Troy Middle School, 5800 W. Theodore St. in Plainfield.

“We have a remarkable array of organizations that serve the children of Will County in extraordinary ways,” Bertino Tarrant said in a news release. “Our Kids’ Fair serves as a one-stop shop for children, parents, grandparents, educators and loved ones who would like to explore local services and organizations in our community.”

There are openings available for child-oriented community organizations that gear a majority of their work toward elementary school-aged children. Interested organizations are invited to register at SenatorBertinoTarrant.com. Registration is free.

Events already scheduled include storytelling, live animals, free haircuts and more.

For more information, call the senator’s office at 815-254-4211.
