Maggie Trevor, who trailed incumbent Tom Morrison by 43 votes in the race for the 54th District State House of Representatives seat, has called for a discovery recount.

Jim Scalzitti of the Cook County Clerk’s Office told the Journal & Topics Tuesday (Dec. 4) that Trevor, a Rolling Meadows resident, asked for a discovery recount in 19 of 77 precincts in the 54th District. This legislative area covers parts of Arlington Heights, Rolling Meadows and Palatine.
