ROCK ISLAND, Illinois — The chairman for the Rock Island Democratic party has decided to step down.
Doug House told the 22-member committee on Sunday, November 11 that he wants to spend more time with his family.
House served as the organization’s chair since April of 2012.
A new chairperson was set to be elected Thursday in Moline.
