Illinois Republicans will soon have little to no say in state government. It appears that House Democrats won back a supermajority in the Illinois House.
Late last night, Democrats looked on track to have won 72 seats in the House that would put them in the supermajority, and allow Democrats to essentially do what they want in the Illinois General Assembly. Republicans have been in the superminority in the Illinois Senate since 2014.
