CHICAGO (CBS)–As mid-term elections approach, Suburban Cook County has already set a record for registered voters, with 1.5 million already signed up to vote this year.
That’s compared to ten years ago, when just 1.3 million voters had signed up by election day in Suburban Cook County.
Voters will head to the polls in November to cast ballots for the governor’s race and the Congressional contests across the state.
