1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the United Steelworkers Union Hall, 502 Woodburn Ave.

Sanders, 30, of Rock Falls, has said he is a staunch supporter of unions, and if elected, will seek tax and campaign finance reforms. He worked for Democrat Mike Smiddy’s 2016 campaign, in which Smiddy lost to McCombie.

She is expected to run for a second term, but has not made an official announcement.

The primary is March 20; the general election is Nov. 6, 2018.
