Vermilion County Board Chairman Mike Marron, a Republican, chose Chad Hays, R-Catlin, to replace Phil Morgan of Danville, whose term on the Danville Sanitary District board is coming to an end.
DANVILLE — Tuesday night’s appointment of state Rep. Chad Hays to a paid position on the Danville Sanitary District Board had some asking questions, including whether it’s a conflict of interest for the state legislator.
But it didn’t keep the measure from passing unanimously when put to a vote of the Vermilion County Board.
