Applications are available online to get mail ballots for the Nov. 8 Presidential election, which will be mailed beginning mid-October. Applications are at http://ift.tt/2bsFFl3. Cook County Clerk David Orr said suburban Cook County voters cast 31,409 ballots by mail in the March 2016 primary, a 225 percent increase from the previous primary. The deadline to apply for a mail ballot is Nov. 3. To be counted, ballots must be postmarked no later than Nov. 8, and received at the Cook County Clerk’s office within 14 days of Election Day.
